Corns and Calluses

Corns and callous are thick, hard layers of skin that form when the skin tries to protect itself from pressure and friction usually caused by footwear or bony deformities of the foot. They can cause pain and discomfort and look unattractive!

A podiatrist can remove the callous and corns with little to no discomfort leaving your feet looking as good as new and a lot more comfortable. If the source of the pressure and friction is established, and eliminated the corns and calluses will not return.
If you suffer from Diabetes or conditions restricting blood flow to the feet, it is important that you visit your podiatrist if you develop a corn or callus to ensure there is not an underlying ulcer or other complications.
